Reynoldsburg School District will Auction Trailblazer Houses

Two dilapidated duplexes owned by the Reynoldsburg school district will be up for public auction next month.

The district recently distributed a public-auction notice for the vacant properties at 1928 and 1936 Redwood St., to be sold "as is."

Business Director Todd Stahr said separate auctions of the properties would begin consecutively at 10 a.m. Sept. 25 at the district business office, 1555 Graham Road. Registration for the auction begins at 9 a.m. that day.

He said at last month's school board meeting the duplexes have fallen into disrepair and have been vacant for the past two years.

"Both have roof issues and have sustained some water damage," he said. "We've been dealing with basement cleanup after our frequent spring rainstorms."
