School Board Approves Bonus and Pay Raise for Superintendent

The Reynoldsburg Board of Education voted during a special meeting early Friday, June 26, to grant Superintendent Tina Thomas-Manning a 6-percent bonus and a 2-percent increase on her base salary.

The raise and bonus were approved by a 4-0 vote, with the newest board member, Dan Hayes, abstaining from voting.

“The board completed a glowing evaluation of Mrs. Thomas-Manning, based on the goals we had agreed upon earlier in the school year,” Board President Elaine Tornero said. “We are extremely pleased with the initiatives she has begun to improve academic performance, promote a culture of safety, maintain the district’s fiscal sustainability and improve communications with stakeholders.”
