STEM Students Turn Attention to Blacklick Plaza Redevelopment

Reynoldsburg students may help design some aspects of a new development at Blacklick Plaza, thanks to a collaboration between the E.V. Bishoff Co. and the school district.

Bishoff announced last spring that Blacklick Plaza at 6500 E. Livingston Ave., which it has owned for more than 40 years, would get a much-needed facelift and renovation to help it become a "restaurant row."

Construction was originally expected to begin sometime in the spring, according to an April press release, but now is expected to begin within the next six months, according to company officials.

"We recognized it was time for an update to give Blacklick Plaza a sense of revival," company President David Bishoff said. "We have also set aside land for a community garden perfect for the growing of herbs and vegetables for our restaurant row owners."
