Food Allergies

We are very aware that there are students with severe food allergies.  We do a nutritional analysis on our menus so we must have current nutritional information in our computer database on every item that is served.

We are now using Nutrislice software to provide an interactive, real-time, and app friendly school menu. You can filter the menu for common food allergens like nuts, wheat and dairy. It also gives you access to nutritional information like carb counts and calories with just a few clicks.

Visit https://reyn.nutrislice.com/menu/ to view the current breakfast and lunch menu.

If a child can’t drink milk, water is available at every school.

The gluten-free lunch experience

The Reynoldsburg Food Service team has created a menu for gluten-free children. It is important to us that all children can experience eating school lunch.  We want you to have comfort in knowing that our kitchen staff are fully trained, processes in place to minimize cross-contamination and gluten-free food orders.

Some of our gluten-free offerings are burgers (with or without a gluten-free bun), chicken tenders, hot turkey sub, pizza and more.

If your child was recently diagnosed with celiac disease or gluten sensitivity, here are the steps to take that will lead to a smoother lunch experience:

      1. Fill out the Lunch Program Special Request Form and email it to [email protected] or fax it to 614-501-1049.
      2. Contact the head cook at your child's school to review the gluten-free menu together.
      3. The students select items from the gluten-free menu ahead of time so their lunch is ready when they get to the cafeteria.
